can i put a banner in my signature?

Sometiems when i'm searching for something on the internet, I find forums and message boards relating to what I was searching for, so I take a look at them - I never join them, though, because they all seem too cluttered and hard to navigate. One of the reasons I like this site is because there is no 'reward' system for posting a certain number of times, no 'status' system (where you status progress dependant on how many posts you have), and there are no big, huge, clumsy, stupid banners in people's signatures. (I'm not saying yours would be big, huge, clumsy or stupid, Lily, but there would be some )
