Cannabis and Blood Pressure

Hya Friends

I've been a Cannabis smoker for about thirty years and was last smoking about a little less than a quarter a week.

After a recent heart problem I'm taking medication to keep my Blood Pressure low (amongst other things, Ramipril and Digoxin). I came out of hospital 48 hours ago and as yet am a bit scared to take a hit.

Does anybody have any past experiences and or suggestions?.

Hya again Friends

Since there were no replies to my Cannabis and blood Pressure question, here goes a self-reply based on the experiences of the last thirty minutes.

Haven't smoked Anything in the last month 'till just half an hour ago. Hit a piece of hash about the size of a medium sized pea spread over four tokes, just took short breaths then let the smoke settle. I'm glad to report that all seems well body-wise. Feeling really good (high as a f*kn' kite).

Wow, I'd almost forgotten how good it is!

Heart-rate seems normal, I'll probably have another few hits then leave it alone for the rest of the evening, chill, play some more Banjo and Guitar.

Friend of mine had to have a heart bypass operation. The surgeon doing the op told her to keep toking just cut out the tobacco. Heart surgeon says it's ok, that'll do for me.

My ex husband used to smoke to steady out his heart beat...his was extremely irregular due to a virus he caught. He was on Digoxin also.

i get chronic migraines due to high blood pressure and smoking always makes migraines feel better. iot doesnt reduce3 bloodpressure but allows me to relax enough to peruse other treatment. i dont think toking raises blood pressure.

I'm still here, had moderate tokes last night and tonight too. Heartbeat is good and all is well.
