Um... I dunno about that... aren't there Lords of all kinds of things in the UK? I think it's just sort of a title, not necessarily religious.

Lord of the dance is just a Bunch of Scottish dancers (i think there scottish.?.).
the same people do that river dance.
they toured Australia not long ago.
