AVATARS???

Does anyone know how to make your personal pics into avatars? I'm bored with mine already and want to change it. I've tried the Paintbrush application, but it chops the picture from the bottom right up and the pic looks awful.

I think I've asked this before, but the program that was suggested didn't work. Sorry again for asking.

Paint does work, you need to use the cutting tool, resizing the frame won't resize the picture.

Use this tool in the pic (circled) to capture your picture, then drag the corners to get it just right.

Paint's resizing is very pixelly, however. Photoshop and PaintShop Pro can both do a much better job.

I made mine in GIMP. Its a opensource powerfull image editor much like photoshop you can download it at http://www.gimp.org. oh and you can resize pictures in it also.
