I tied them when they were just seedlings so they would grow to one side. Just trying some of the techniques I have read somwhere on this site.

umm BULLSHIT i hate to be the one to break it to you since im new here but im not new to growing and yes it can be done and allot of people do it when selecting a mother plant after a grow and also allot of small timers in the seed biz and i also have done it myself there are a few other things that should be done to ensure that it grows back healthy which are:

1 trim back bhe buds and leave a small amount of leaves but as little of the budds as possible

2 trim the roots because when you cut away the vegitation the roots dont suck up as much water so the soil stays really moist longer and with all those roots that arent really doing anything laying in water they may beginn to rot

    3 repot in fresh soil

4 dont flower right away leave them under atleast 18 hours of light a day

    other things to know are

1 THE LEAVES ARE GOING TO LOOK WEIRD AND YES IT IS NORMAL

2its better to give it a couple weeks till it resumes its regular vegitive growth(normal looking leavs) then clone it

thats about it so i hope you didnt really kill it over some bad advise if you liked it

i know im new here but i know my shit. if you dont believe me check out some of my grows at hempcultivation.com

...for the plant to recover plus a couple of weeks to grow vegetatively plus acouple of weeks for the clones to be ready for vegetation plus a couple of weeks into vegetation equals more or less to two months....is it not less complicated to start a new plant or what?

If you get 4 CFL you have more blue light but you wont have near the lumens of 4 MH.
I'll go find the supplier for those , so everyone can cratique them...found them doing search for Agrosun Gold for my 400w MH...in case you all don't know; The Agrosun Gold is a Horizontal MHbulb with enhaced red spectrum...for those of us stuck with vertical MH setups.

Great job, they look real healthy, I must say. so you are enjoying this grow better than before, I think the 2nd-3rd grows have to be rewarding for everyone, because you kind of get a handle on the little things, you did wrong on the first grow...keep it up, looking forward to your progress...

sorry i've been kinda out of it lately ..late...

haha.. i was basing my advice on the assumption that he was planning to re-veg the old plant.. rather than just continue the flowering. when you have the plant in flowering it's usually a minimum of 12 hours of dark..eg.12/12.. when you put the light back up to something like 18/6 with a bunch of seedlings... the old plant will obviously.. regrow. it will regrow with male parts... the amount of stress when cutting it back, and the change in the flower light cycle will... produce male flowers.. if you've got other female's in there.. and one plant has male parts, you'll get seed in all of the plants...

    Either way.. it's old news..

Looking GREAT Soma, nice fat buds .. cheers!
