Nope, its not just you, I'm in the same boat too. Back in school I had lots of friends but we've pretty much all drifted apart. The closest one is like 3 hrs away. We still keep in touch but its not the same as having friends to hang out with. I'd say my wife is my best friend but, again, its different from having a good bud to just hang out with

I remember reading something about how the chances of making really good friends, not just aquintences, as adults is statistically very low. Work, family, and busy schedules just prevent any lasting bonds from developing. Consider yourself very lucky if you still live near your old school friends.
