    symptom Question

The plants are sun burned. Maybe keep the floros on and start out using the 1000 watt for an hour twice each day. Then work up till the plants are used to it. I would definetly scrap the high powered light until your plants have recovered and keep it higher until they can benefit from the stronger light.

    symptom Question

    The above sounds correct.

If its the top foilage that is having the probs....you can be assured its the higher light output.

    Floros to 1000W HPS.....

    That is a transition indeed.

    symptom Question

Not many plants will do well coming out from birth with a 1000W on it, but yes you can do that.

Just start high and work way low and keep LOTS OF air blowing across the plant tops.

Without a pic, we're just shootin in the dark.
