I don't know why everyone is up in arms over the price of gas. Contrary to popular belief, gas in America is cheap. Really cheap. Everyone else in the world, save those in the Middle East, have been paying the equivalent of $4-5 (and even higher) per gallon of gas for years.

All that's happening now is that the market for oil is finally catching up to us. And that's a good thing. Maybe now we'll see larger investments in non-petrochemical energy sources.
