humidity, humidity, humidity, you want it nice and warm and wet....it's a fungus much like mold, and mold grows in a humid environment...i'd probably try to raise the temp to about 80 degrees

And is that layout even effective? edit: I forgot, I heard that light can help, so today I put a flashlight in the chest and left it on. I haven't had that there for the past few days (don't remember how long it's been in there, couldn't be longer than four days). Also, it's Hawaiians, if that makes a difference.
