I don't think it will be very efective you should use perlite or geolite to maintain relative humidity or you can use a hand sprayer.And you also must change air 4 times in a day with a fan or manually.

And is that layout even effective? edit: I forgot, I heard that light can help, so today I put a flashlight in the chest and left it on. I haven't had that there for the past few days (don't remember how long it's been in there, couldn't be longer than four days). Also, it's Hawaiians, if that makes a difference.
