    mushroom growing question

My layout is in the pic below.

Simple question: with that layout, how long should it take for shrooms to start pinning? And is that layout even effective?

edit: I forgot, I heard that light can help, so today I put a flashlight in the chest and left it on. I haven't had that there for the past few days (don't remember how long it's been in there, couldn't be longer than four days).

Also, it's Hawaiians, if that makes a difference. I heard they're more temp-hardy.

Well what I was told is that they don't really need light, but it can help start em up. Also that they don't need much light to get going, or for it to be very bright. I just can't leave it out in the open though.

I definitely have fuzz growing. I don't think it was there when I started. I just hope it's the right fuzz, and not mold of some kind.

I don't think it will be very efective you should use perlite or geolite to maintain relative humidity or you can use a hand sprayer. And you also must change air 4 times in a day with a fan or manually.

Yeah I don't have a spritzer so I'll get that, I have been opening it and waving out the old air a few times each day though.

humidity, humidity, humidity, you want it nice and warm and wet....it's a fungus much like mold, and mold grows in a humid environment...i'd probably try to raise the temp to about 80 degrees
