It wasn't the actual cops that searched the place, it was a campus "Life Safety" Officer. Since this is a private collage on private property, they can do whatever they want to you.

Guess what freind? No rent a cop can search without your permission! Doesnt matter where or what you signed this is a federal law! You let your self get screwed. The ONLY thing a rent a cop can do is call the real police. Next time tell him to fuck off!
