just a few questions from a new grower

ok i planted a couple seeds(literally 2) in 6 inch pots. now i'm wonderin, the only light i have that could possibly work is a 500w worklight, in theory this seems like it could work at keepin the soil at a constant temperature. does this sound like it could work till i get a grow light? and is it possible to use the sun during the day and the light at night without doing any damage to the seeds or plant??

also what kind of fert's would yall reccommend, brandwise? thanx for any pointers.

Actually your seeds would come out of the soil with no light at all,keeping them warm would be a good idea,but light isn't necassery until sprout comes out of soil!,but the faster you get a grow light of some sort the better the chance of getting the seedling to live......you don't have much time,and the sun may be to powerfull for a seedling just coming out of the pot,get a cheap flourecent bulb,even a few spiral flourecents for now,tie ya over for a few weeks until you can get something together with a little more bang to it...good luck

spiral floreusents as in lke lamp lights?? i do have a few of those, if that's what you're meanin.
