Need advice on growing space

This is the MAX space I can use for a closet cabinet grow:

4ft high, 2.5 feet wide, 2 feet deep

My plan is to grow a single flowering plant from seed in that area with either 250W HPS + 80W CFL's, or 400W total CFL (or something you can recommend?). Strain will either be Northern Lights or Low Rider. I could use some advice on what's an ideal cabinet size for my area. Let me know if I'm on crack with this idea.

you are looking for an ideal cabinet size?

if your area is 4 X 2.5 X 2,....is that not your cabinet size?

Or are you looking to place a cabinet in that space?

1. Are you good with hand tools and electricity?
2. Are you comfortable working around electricity?
2. Are you going to build this or do you already have it?

Hardon: My questions is how big of a cabinet, or should I say how small, do I need for one flowering plant + lights, etc. I will be replacing a dresser and that's the space I have to work with.

Well it seems if you have that much space, well then you oughta build something that will take up that much space.

Actually sounds like a perfect space to grow one plant.

With the 4 ft. height though, be prepared to tie her down and bend her over and over.

Also, you might wanna grow 3 to increase the odds of you getting a female.

You got the grow container which will be how tall?
You have the light hanging which will take up how much height?

HOw much room does that leave you for veg and flower?

Maybe 2.5 feet?

Thats not a lot, but a low grow spread out and bent might be the best bet. When flower time comes around they WILL double in height.

Make sure you have indica dominant strain!!!

Finally, your 250W HPS will be enuff for this grow space. But plan on good ventilation with such a low height.

I do understand that height will be a concern and I will definitely be doing some tying down. I'm picking NL which is indica dominant and also has low odor.

I am growing at home with the rents. They know I smoke and don't care as long as they don't see it or smell it. *tangent* I planted a bud seed in my mom's indoor garden when I was in 7th grade and they made me flush it 2 weeks later when they found out, maybe this is my destiny, lol. But really, my main concern is odor as they are never in my room.

The budget for building just the cabinet is a bottle of Jim Beam. GF's dad is a handyman and bartered to build it for us, hah. That really only leaves me to buy the 250W HPS (http://www.insidesun.com/index.php?a...=2&prevstart=0 perhaps this?), fans, etc. My project budget is spending as little as possible but still have everything I need.

I'll be grateful if you can draw up some plans as I know yours will be better than mine, judging by experience.
