You dont want clay pots and you dont want soil that retains moisture

OH well, odds are you gonna kill your first grow anyhow...

Start timing your watering now though in prep for when you leave.

You might want to place a BIGGER SAUCER to hold more water.

Water from the saucer 75% and 25% WATER on the soil surface.

Get the clay pots wrapped now...they allow fast and rapid evaporation especially under lights.

Mind you they are "OK" for general cultivation but when you are leaving for 3 days, they add to the need for water issue.
