Did you get the real terra cotta CLAY pots or plastic pots?

If you got the real clay pots, you will need to wrap those things up in some foil, as the pot will retain way too much heat for the roots and they will dry out so fast (your soil will) that you wont make it for 4 days.

I saw those but they looked like resin plant containers.

Yes the terra cotta will retain moisture, but it will cause faster evaporation due to its porosity.
