First thing I would do if I were you....

1. Lose the reflectors. There really is no need for them and they will only shorthen the life of your CFL. Almost all CFL are built for 'base down' operation. The number one enemy of ballasts on these bulbs is heat. Lose the reflectors and you can get the temps down to 75F with your fan.

Your bigger plant shows a lil heat stress.

2. The containers you have them in have to go....get some real potting containers. The ones you are using appear way too shallow. You tap root is gonna grow like a side root and that may hurt your main bud sites later on when you need them.

You will want to keep the same size diameter wise, but deeper.

Place some small stones (ideally lava rock) at the bottom of your new container. (make sure it has holes on bottom). Fill will your new soil about 3"-4". Water to run-off. THis will 'set' the soil to fill the gaps in the rocks and help eliminate airpockets. VERY IMPORTANT!

Thoroughly water plants in existing containers. Carefully remove entire soil pak and transplant into new pots. Fills sides up with new soil.....water thoroughly to run off.

Make sure your new pots have the little saucer / collection pans at the bottom.

When you water, ALWAYS, during veg, water the entire soil base. Not just around the plant. Water very very slowly so ALL soil is wet. Water until water begins to seep out the drain holes in your container. SLOWLY.

Finally, cut your lights to 18/6.

While opinions vary, my personal reccomendation is to allow the plants to sleep 6 hours and hormones and THC are produced during the night period.

My own plants thrived under 18/6 and stressed under 24/0.

As close as possible, right before you leave....

water the plants, from the top of the soil SLOWLY, until the water runs out and fills all the way, your container saucer or water runoff plate.

This will saturate the soil.
This will flood and saturate the water holding lava rock.
THis will allow your rock to absorb water while you are gone, keeping your soil moist without the effects of water logging the soil.

Doing this, with reduced air temp by losing the reflectors and the reduction in light schedule will allow you to travel and be worry free.

Your plants appear healthy although they also appear a tab bit over watered.

On plants this young, USUSALLY, leafs down mean over watering...or not enuff air in the soil. Not enuff air is also caused by over watering them.

And yes, I would add an inch or so of soil to the first one that strecthed a bit.

Besides that, you have a nice lil grow going on.

As for the watering everyday....

If the soil drys everyday then it needs to be watered everyday. Frequency of water is dependent upon many factors but it all comes down to water your plants when dry, and not until.

If you do these things, you will not have to worry about watering while you are gone.

But, you need to do this stuff now, so you can time and practice and make sure it will hold water for 72 hours with out stress.

If your plants are 15 days old now, sex is being designed. Buy the end of the 3rd, or, 4th week, sex has been determined.

It appears less stress equates to more females...and vice versa.

Get this done and report!

Nice grow setup....
