DXM is it Dangerous?

Ugh. I just tried DXM yesterday and I'm probably not going to do it again. It was a bad experience at first. I believe in sacraficing something good (my food) to get something better (a small trip), but damn, it's just not worth it.

I can't really put into words how shitty I felt/feel just because of a small amount of cough syrup. Never again.

Bad trip... kept seeing things in the dark that were closing in and pulsing back out. The entire room was getting darker and darker and moving in towards my bed. My stereo looked like some kind of monster dog.

Stuff was also flying around yesterday. Like a long line of bugs in my room. Had the worst nightmares last night and could barely sleep at all. Woke up multiple times during the night. Today I saw things move past me but when I looked, nothing was there.

I kept having these random visions when I closed my eyes... like a daydream or something. One was: A giant monster picked up a nursing home and shook out all of the old people into the water. Some could swim but some died. The giant shark came up and ate them. The water turned out to be tears from the giant.

However, I did draw some pretty awesome pictures..

I'm an experienced DXM tripper and i got a bottle of delsym sitting here with m, but i was looking upinfo on DXM earlier and i came across alot of DXM death related stories. from what i heard you cant OD on DXM alone. some of these sites seemed a little anti-drug though, and im not sure of the doses the kids took to od from, but i dont know if i should drink a bottle of delsym. they said the risk is greatly increased when dxm is mixed with alcohol and marijuana, which kind of scares me because Rating: 5

i have a friend that thought he od'd on DXM....he drank 12 oz of Extra Strength robo and hes only like 5"9 120 and he said the lights were so bright he had to take little baby steps becuase he was scared of them

Hell yea.I have had wonderful,even mystical experiences on dxm,so that is why amsterdams comment is so ignorant. He makes it sound like everyone who does it is some ignorant kid raiding their medicine cupboard for any "high"..... stay on the politics board amsterdam...and wheres the pic of your .50?.....thats right

yeah DXmcan be awesome, but if you do it too often it fucks you right up.. like trips wont feel the same. Tolerance is high to dxm. like i am high now. lol wtf?!

I am a serious DXM fan and it can be dangerous if you take too much like 2 grams or more, it also can be dangerous when you do it often because it causes brain damage although out of all i've read about the brain damage, it is not permanant unless if you OD which can cause a high fever and possibly fry your brain(depending on how much you do). Also there is no evidence of physical dependence caused by DXM use only psychological.
