Pure Power Plant, day 60 of 12/12

Chowder, I am basing my next grow off of this. I should have pics as soon as I muster the balls to kill the CUNT.

But I am going for a SOG grow here....21 days of veg only.

If I can pull 1/4 ounce outta each bud I will be a happy camper.

Tell me....how did the bud stone you?

Did the short 21 day veg cycle affect potency,..in your opinion?

The stone was, okay quality. It took about 6 bong rips for me to get stoned. Not super stoned, but, a comfortable stone. If I had to rate it from 1-10, I would say it was about a 7. Meh...not good, not great. It compared nothing to WW I grew last time Whew, that shit could take an elephant down.

The top cola is still curing and I'm gonna start smoking on that tonight. I'll snap a pic, she frosted up reeeeal nice.

But the remainder of the plant I smoked after maybe 3-4days of curing. When first inhaled, I could feel a slight sting on the back of my throat, but once in my lungs it was okay. No harsh coughing, comes out smooth, but harsh going in. It tasted a little green, over ripened in my opinion. I let her live too long I think. It had a nice floral taste to it. Not bad, could have been better.

I also made the mistake of transplanting during flowering A big no no, which I have learned twice about now. So this time around I'm transplanting during vegging so she is in 100% good health, and happy home when she hits 12/12.

I don't think short veg time had a really big effect on potency. It had a huge effect on yeild, obviously, but I think if a person keeps that plant in good health, no matter how short the veg time, it can come out just as potent if grown with 60days veg or 20days veg. A lot has to do with ferts too. I was using this small tub of chemical, blue, crystal shit, that I got for under $4. Sure it works, but I can use better. I want to use healthy shit for my plants, no more "good-enough" attitude

I have already changed my choice in ferts. I took your suggestion and went for some bat guano. I'm using all organics this time, and I'll be going to the garden store within the next few days to pick out some healthy medium for the plant.

The MJ plants just LUV bat guano tea.

I really like the way the guano settles on top of the soil layer...forming a silt sorta on top.

Then when you rewater, it carries it down each time.

Also, you can get the bat guano in different strengths or npk ratios for the seasons.

And of course, 100% organic.

Its organic so it is very versatile....

You can mix right in with the soil.....not needed however if you have great soil...

Or you can add it to your water. pH down it, then feed.

Particularly I like to mix it wiht the water, let it cook in the sunlight for a day, they water as normal with the tea.

It mixes well but still leaves a fiberous blanket down. Really sweet.

Cool cool. As long as they seel high N and high P guano in supermarkets or gardening stores I'm going to go with that. Great advice.
