How long do shrooms last? Not the trip, but the actual potency of the chemical that causes the "trip"? Let's say one were to purchase within the next month and not use them until November or December of this year; would they still be effective? If so, would they be weaker, stronger, or have the same effect as taking them right after you purchased them?

As far as I know, if they are dried they should be fine.

Storing in a tight jar would help.

If I put them in a mason jar, then would they mold? If I were to eat the shrooms if they had a little bit of mold on them, would it affect my health?

They're fungus anyway, just rip the mold off them.
