Yeah I understand your frustration. A kid I tutored got busted by his mom (which I'm sure many of us know can be much more frightening than the cops) and ratted out the local dealer.

It sucked but the cops never shut her (the dealer) down for long, because she just gives them a lot of free weed. She was back in business within a month and I currently have an eighth of her hash sitting next to my mouse.
