Expired Hydrocodone?

I recently came across a full bottle of unopened prescription Hydrocone 7.5/APAP 500, however, it is about one year old. Considering that it was unopened and kept in a dark, dry place, are these still safe to take? I know there might be a degredation in the effectiveness of the meds, but is it small enough that taking them would still be beneficial? Thanks for any help.

Check the expiration date. All medications come with an expiration date.

Just take them, they last for along long time. It's antibiotics and shit you gotta worry about expiring. I just took some 5 year old codiene and it works wonders. Don't worry about it.

PS. Codiene syrup is a dream, I got ear infections all the time when I was a little kid, I wish I knew about this stuff then!!!

Haha, thanks Satovan, I plan to take them soon, or maybe I'll sell them! Now that I know, the possibilities are limitless! Yay!
