opium & marijuana substitutes
Hello this is Laura speaking once again.
Well it looks like I won't be having access to stronger drugs (and unfortunately by stronger I mean marijuana) because my hippie friends are holding out on me.
Anyway, it led me into a nice interest in botany if you willand i came across some herbs that you can apparently get high off of. So far all I have is damiana, passion flower, and scullcap. Pretty softcore, I know.
So I started researching 'harder' softcore herbs (how much harder can you get, though. really.) I started looking for opium substitutes & marijuana substitutes. So far what I have for opium substitutes are wild lettuce (which apparently doesn't work) and kratom. And all I have for marijuana substitutes is passion flower, which also is supposed to be just a "mild sedative".
So I want to know what kinds of experiences have you had with these & if you can suggest any other kinds of herbs or anything you can easily get that's not so softcore, for lack of a better word, it would be greatly appreciated.
thank you for your cooperation,
laura

I'm not encouraging any of these as "alternatives", but they can get you high and are easily available:
Nutmeg ((Very stoney, tiring, and heavy feeling)) ((some people hallucinate on this, I never have and never will, because I never plan to do it again. Not fun.))
LSA ((HB Woodrose seeds or Morning Glory seeds)) ((Awesome high. Amazingly mind boggling.))
Diphenhydramine ((benadryl)) ((unclean dangerous feeling high.))
DXM ((Robitussin)) ((disassociative awesome wonderful safe high in correct doses))
Datura - ((scary as satan)) ((real hallucinations))
Salvia Extracts - ((Full of Wonder)) ((close your eyes and disappear for 5 minutes. Come back cooler))
Amanita Muscaria Mushrooms - ((Scarier then satan.)) ((Die in a tent alone. Worst experience ever.))
Kava Kava Extracts - ((Legs get drunk!)) ((Sharp mind, poor motor skills, pseudo-clarity))
The only one of the above drugs though that is even comparable to marijuana would be the first one. Nutmeg. Don't do any of the above stuff without looking into it. They can all be dangerous if not used with caution and sometimes even when used with caution.

hi laura just thought i would add to your knowledge bank: wild lettuce is a source of a mild narcotic, but it's in the seeds...i saw a special on some "discovery channel-esque" on tv about a tribe that takes tons of the wild lettuce seeds and they have a mechanical press they made that smushes down all of the seeds and an oil drains out...supposedly very relaxing, similar to opium, but it put the men in a good sexual mood and enhanced their erections, as for women, probably like opium...there's evidence of the use of this narcotic that dates as far back as ancient egypt (it's written in some tombs, they even drew pictures of men drinking it and getting massive hardons lol)

i've done morning glory seeds and they are very interesting kinda like tripping on shrooms...i just washed them, ground them up with a hammer and ate them, but some people get sick from that and have to make extracts with grain alcohol

Opium poppy seeds are legal, so that's kinda better than a "substitute." Also you can pick up the plants from garden stores (sometimes they even sell the flowers flattened and dry) so you can make opium tea.
Also, any mescaline-containing cactus you can get hold of would be legal and worth your while. Again, garden stores might have some San Pedroes.
I hear damiana is actually a pretty impressive high if its done right, so maybe you already have one good alternative. But don't ask me how to "do it right," I'd have to ask my friend.
I guess what I'd personally recommend is
LSA
Opium seeds
San Pedro cactus
Salvia
Also 2C-I (everybody knows the one solid research chem site for this) if you're not shy about white powders
