ive been washing my hair every other day and stoped brushing it so i would have to disagree about not washing your hair for a year becous my hair is accualy tangling very fast...and dreads wernt even started by africans dreads go back to the cave man days

let me advise.....we chicks are not crazy about dreadlocks, unless you like the hairy underarm, no makeup natural type. you can't run your fingers through them, people judge you harshly, (think it doesn't matter? don't fool yourself, a cop would not search the car of a straight looking young person, sport some dreds and one sticker on your car, prepare for your beatdown) If you don't keep on a pretty high maintenence schedule then they stink and look gross, and it is a very dated look.
