You are not better than anyone else because you have dreads and you are not judgmental of someones looks. You are judging others, we all do based on appearances, it's a fact of life.

and some people look excellently hot with dreads, like srendaen.
chicks (the right chicks) with dreds look very hot.

and also, I am very tolerant of different appearances, I used to design goth and alternative clothing. I dealt with many models who had dreds of every color, even ones of yarn. it is all good, but it gets you judged specially by the straight world and police. This is your first very mild dose of it....good luck.

Yes I totally agree! You are judged the moment you are seen, but there is a difference in people who are stuck on that first judgement and the others who have the ability to think a bit further and change their first judgement.
It's all about how you present yourself, walk straight, smile, speak clearly, smell nice, clothing is washed and etc. So even the ones that are stuck on that first judgement may even go: yakk its ashame she has dreads but damn does she look good. (or he :P )

either way the ones that havent got the ability to think past their judgement, are not even worth my presence. I'll lead my life the way I am doing now anyways.

Over here, the dutch, are known as big mouths, but thats ok. i get billions of questions a day on how I got my hair this way. ( I live in a religious (christian)town). I explain to them how it's done and what it's called. Some wanna touch others go: whow. And many just shrug and go on with their shopping.(I work behind a till).
