    well in a pipe i would say yess. i have a gravity b thast rusting but thast because of the water so is not really harmfull, jsut try to make sure the rust isnt burning.

    yea the bowl isn't rusting, it's just the stem so it wont be burning. Man, i wish i could just get a real bong.

    Just because the flame isn't against the rust doesn't mean its not getting hot... best to find a new pipe asap.

    It seems to me that would be somewhat similar to cutting yourself on a rusty piece of metal...except you're inhaling it and...what goes in your lungs is passed to your blood.

    You could always try and tell us first hand though, as an experiment.

    well, i have two pipes... one is steel(i think) and rusty and one is copper. which one would be less harmful do you think.

    rust is entirely harmless. when you cut yourself with a rusty nail, you are getting infected with tetanus not rust.
