    another question-growing outside

Hello. THis is Laura speaking again. Well I figured out growing inside wouldn't work out, and I found this forest like area near my house, which, even know it's not very good quality at least it's far enough away from my house that even if somebody did find anything they wouldn't know whose it was.
Do you think growing in a forest like area would work out? The reason it's forestlike is just because there's a lot of trees & leaves & branches & it's not very well kept. There's a lot of rocks and stuff on the ground & I don't know if it would be a good enviornment though.
    thank you for your cooperation

Quantity over quality? Whats wrong with you? Anyways, Laura to answer your question, is there a spot in that area that gets a lot of sunlight? If not, then it probably wouldn't be a very good idea as cannabis needs lots of light to grow. And galaga, heres a tip for your schwag growing endeavour, eventhough the seeds came from schwag, theres still hope to make them more potent then when you smoked ths stuff they came from, learn how to tell the sex apart and get the males out before they can have sex with the females, thus the females will grow more potent buds and no seeds at all.

there's a place next to the road (dead end road nobody uses unless they live there) but it's more in the open that might get more sun.

    Hello,

laura - I would think that you are going to have a bit of work ahead of you. Shaggzx is correct in saying that you will need a spot that allows for direct sun for most of the day.

Along with that factor you will have to consider the quality of your soil. More often then not natural soil does not have enough built up nutrients to sustain a plant throughout its growth and budding cycles. You will probably want to dig out a nice sized whole and then refill it with store bought soil along with whatever amendments you decide to add (perlite, vermiculite, bone meal, blood meal, lime, etc.).

Using bone and blood meal will attract insects and such. You may also want to get some kind of repelent for animals so that they do not come up and eat your crop. Many people use cyote urine, and spray it around their grow. This keeps all animals away. You can also lay out a circle of epsom salt around your plant to detour slugs and some other insects.

You will need to use nutrients of some sort, I would use Advanced Nutrients outdoor nutrients, but look around and find what is best for you.

    I hope this helps.

Just let me know if I can help out with anything else.

    Take care

    Peace
