How much £/$ is weed really worth?

Say if it was legal and didn't have the outrageous black market price, how much do you think it would be? At the end of the day it's a plant and the weed doesn't have to be processed or anything like other drugs so there would be no reason for it to be expensive. Growing weed is the same as growing tomatos in terms of effort and cost so I think it should be around the same price as tomatos lol.

well take the prices of weed in amsterdam coffee shops... the most potent and expensive bud is 10 a gram and the rest averages 5 a gram.....id say 15-25 an 8th for primo pot because it does cost the cultivator some money to grow it ei..setup nutrients lights electricity ect ect...

Keep in mind, the only way it would be free of the black market prices, would be for it to be legal. And there's no way in hell its going to be legalized without being taxed by around 1500%...in ontario, in my lifetime, I have watched the price of a pack of cigarettes TRIPLE. The smokes still cost the same, but the taxes have gone up continually.

so, even without the black market price, you'd probably still be paying around the same price. Except you can look forward to having government grown, standard strength MJ, shredded (stalks, leaves, and all) and prerolled for your convenience. And I'd be willing to bet those fuckers put tobacco in it too, and then tax it even more.

There would be a farmers market. It would be way less expensive. On a legal market pot cant be as much as gold.

If it were legal you'd still have specialized strains that have been crossed & hybridiized to effectively keep the quality up.....therefore prices will always vary .....but generally speaking the average price would drop .......

real price of weed? well my friend who lived back in the philippines, they sold it for a profit which was £5 per kilo. think about how much it is really worth. there selling the pric of weed for what they get the seeds for. sometimes if they were from cuttings, he would get a kilo for free.
