I agree that people should have the legal right to be an asshole and burn the flag if they want. I wouldn't ever do it since its poor taste but if that's what floats your boat, you should have the right to do it. Since this pisses so many people off I suggest a compromise:

They can have the right to burn the flag-Freedom of expression
Others can have the right to beat flag burners to a pulp-Also freedom of expression

I can't think of any reason why I'd burn a flag, Canadian or otherwise. I don't like the Bush administration but I recognize that they are not the be all and end all of America, which is in truth a wonderful nation. So you'd never see me burning an American flag.
