30 days into flowering quick question

Any help would be great. Im growing in soil under 400watt hps.Been on 12-12 cycle for 4 weeks today ive grown this seed outside never indoors. Could anybody tell me how long or how to tell when there ready to harvest.Thanks .

harvest when about 75% of the hairs have turned orange/red.

What strain type--Indica or sativa or combination

u dont want to determine harvest when the pistles have turned u want to pick when Around 80% of the crystals covering the plant have turned amber coluor or changed colour from their original colour.

but generally
Indica or indica heavy plants take around 7-9weeks to mature up
sativa can take anything up 2 16weeks- especially if its a long season haze or an equatorial variety where u need loads of intense light to help mature up.but these varieties diont cum around often and are hard to grow.

do some readind on the net jus type in when to harvest my marijuana plant in a google engine and see what u get!!
