IRC is a great place for files, but its got a learning curve that still scares me...and I'm an IT tech

but if you can figure it out and make it work, go for it. One of the better places to get things, definitely on the same level as the torrent networks...but a damn sight better than Kazaa still.

ircspy have made their site pretty idiot proof to use (i use it so there ya go), once you have your client configured properly its as easy as anything else , but just as good.
