dolomite lime(available at any garden shop)of course you know a soil "ph"of 6.2-6.5 for soil, will give you a safe buffer zone up or down...sweet dreams....bonbon

you might have to flush some of the fert out(that itself may raise it)or after you check it,and it's still a little low, wait for the medium to drain, and water with the lime checking the ph every day till you get you're target range,it will take a few days to do this, but it's the safe way, better yet, follow the directions for a quick fix....bonbon

    ph level too high

some speckling of the smaller leaves,(like an orange color) larger leaves have mostly turned yellow and dropped but other than that they are budding well. I checked the ph again and it is now around 5-5.5. I got some lime and i will add a little with water next watering. I gave a small feed of epsom salts 2 waterings ago as i think it may be a magnesum deffiancy with the speckling on the leaves, it dont seem to be getting any worse
    thanks for your help

sounds like you've caught it in time, dont forget magnesium is alkaline too, so it will raise it(ph) some also,it will come around soon....bonbon
