Does anyone know how you would mount a squirrel fan in a grow closet? It's 180 cfm's. How loud do these things get? I've always used vortex inline fans in the past.

WTF you gonna use one of them for?
I think you need to have the housing for it.

it should work good. I have seen videos of pedal powered hovercraft that used big squirrel cage fans. im not sure how loud they are but they cant be any louder than any other fans I wouldnt think. as far as mounting it you could build a box that has a round hole that a piece of pvc pipe fits into for your outlet and then hook a dryer vent to that. then have another hole that your fan mounts up to

why do those fans suck or something? those fans are used for a lot of things because they push a lot of air so therefore would work great. sounds to me he wants to make use of what he has on hand and doesnt want to spend $200 on a fan. I would have one up and running in about 15 minutes. its the pc fans that suck.

I,ve seen these fans implemented in many grow rooms. My room is 36 cubic feet therefore this fan would force air out of my room 5 times in 1 min. I thought everyone knew about this type of fan.

I just don't like the noise they make is all I still have a few of them on the shelf. I switched to vortex fans they move more air then my old squirl cage fan is capible of.
Check at your local hydro store, they should have a mounting bracket that bolts over the air out vent. It should have a reducer with it to make the square hole into a round hole that a vent pipe can attach to.

Show me some of your great mirror grows and maybe then I will listen to your incredibly moronic, stupid mirror theories.
And I don't think Zero Revolt needs your inout as to whom to listen to and not listen to.
What are you the national weed board listening advisory committee?
No you're not. You're still a grower who believes mirrors are better than mylar for growing.
How bout from this point on, we just ignore one anothers posts and that way we can prevent any further needless confrontations?
