I started Nov. 27 , 1971, so , if my math is correct, LOL, 33 years/7 months. My first thanksgiving dinner high, a nice tradition i've continued.

Finally, someone on the board who can relate to the good old days. We must be close to the same age survivor. I had my first taste in the fall of 1971 as well, though I can't pinpoint the day like you.

One question for you.....how many Thanksgivings have you enjoyed a few tokes while listening to Arlo Guthrie's song "Alice's Restaurant"? It's the official theme song for Thanksgiving everywhere I've lived. I can't recall a turkey day without it being played at noon, toasted by a huge bowl for everyone.

Started when I was 17! Just turned 25 so 8 Year!!!
