dude i dont see how thc... a fat soluble (however the fuck you spell it, im stoned) thing can be absorbed into the water or alcohol, the way a bong works all it does is pull a bubble of air through the water and in the air is smoke nothing really gets left in the water except for like gross shit

I put ice in quite often cos it makes a really nice n smooth smoke. Have put vodka in b4 & that gives ya a big hit A bong needs to be well looked after, cleaned well, water changed regularly, etc & then it'll smoke well
