I take diphenhydramine almost every day(sleep aid) I don't think there should be any kind of cross tolrance with DXM. If you have to ask if a drug affect was real or just imagination, well, you answered your own question. DXM is a real high, but don't let it ruin you're veiw of drugs, it's legal for a reason.

The only similar drug I've used is DXM, which (because I'm *responsible*) I wait 4-10 days before I do it again, even though the most I've used at a time is 150 mg (I'm not into the Psychedelic Effects right now) and I just started with benadryl at 100 mg.
