I would go for an indica dominant strain if this is your first grow. Sativas can be troublesome as they take much longer to mature and grow taller than indicas. Indicas stay short and bushy and easy to manage. Northern Lights is a good strain for a first grow.

How much and how often should I water? Do I need to worry about rain? Me and my friend are doing this together, and we decided on the Brainwreck strain (50% Indica, 50% Sativa) from http://www.highgrade-seeds.com .
