Wrong. You do not have the right to download copyrighted material unless you a) have paid for that right, or b) have written permission from the copyright holder, even if you have no intention of selling it. Copyright law does make provisions for Fair Use, which are somewhat complicated, so I will not cover them unless someone asks, but downloading music from file-sharing networks is not a Fair Use.
