What are you talking about? That is completely wrong. Hydroponics the word means working with water. It is just bud that is grown in a different type of medium than soil. The reason it is harvested earlier is because it usually grows at a faster pace than in soil, but it is still grown to maturaty. Like others said the potency is determined by genetics. You cant force a plant to make more THC, and having optimal conditions lets your plant produce the amounts of THC that is has potential to.
