    Transplanting

When do you make that first transplant?
From the soil of say, a cut-in-1/2 plastic water jug to a pot.
I don't want to put undue stress on youngins'.

    Thx

really should avoid transplanting at all, plant your seeds in large enough pots so that you won't have to transplant later.. don't worry, she'll grow into it :P

but if you must.. make sure the soil is moist enough to hold together, the easiest way to transplant is by watering the day before, this is to make sure that when you turn the pot upside down, the soil won't just crumble apart.

to transplant turn the entire plant (pot and all) upside down and lift the pot off of the soil.. if it's moist enough it won't fall apart

i agree with bob bong....transplanting is something we all end up having to do if the pots arent big enuff but it is hard on the plant and does cause it stress....i myself grow in cups to start them off in 32 oz. cups witch will let you get around to about 3 weeks vegg...then i use 5 gallon buckets to finish the vegg witch would be about 5 more weeks then 60 more days in flowering...i hope i dont have a root bound problem...but they do look very nice for day 24 flowering think...the less stress u could give a plant the better ! PEACE
