There ARE ways, but they might be too much either in the way of the cost or difficulty.

Anyone who regularly reads all the magazines and articles on the internet might remember the stealth boxes from a few years back. You assembled them out of plywood or particle board and then sprayed the exterior with one of the spray paints that gives a marbled look, or something similar that will help convince anyone who sees it that it's just a small table, plant stand, etc.

Inside would be two ventilation holes, one low and one high. The bottom hole gets a small 3 or 4 inch computer fan which pulls air in, the one above and on the opposite side will blow out through the hole. Connect the fans to a transformer, use either tube florescents in the corners or the new spiral florescents above and wherever they will fit.

Right outside the grow cube, or even on top, place the OZN jr. from General Hydroponics set to automatic to use ion and ozone for odor control. Tell anyone who comments on the OZN jr. that the room stinks of mold or kitchen odors, etc. without it.

Costs - THe OZN jr. is $89 US delivered, the lights could be as much as $50 and the fans are probably $10. With paint, wood, screws etc the grand total could be easily $200 or $250 which may be more than it's worth to you.

Living at home may make it too dificult to do. Of course you might convert an existing piece of furniture to your needs.

Good luck. I always belive there is a way if there is the will.

Well, my friends have been holding out on me (supposedly, they "quit"...) & I haven't smoked any marijuana for 6 months. I'm getting a bit desparate & have started thinking about growing my own. Unfortunately, I'm very very paranoid & want to start out small, with as few plants as possible. Two things made me question the security of this event. One, I read on Erowid (or somewhere else, I don't remember) that growing marijuana is a mandatory 5-30 years in Rating: 5
