Shrooms and bad trips...could a bad trip fuck a person up for a while?

Hey i am going to try shrooms this summer but one thing i heard was that a bad trip could make u have flashbacks and unpleasant feelings for a long time after having it and that it messes the person up. Is this true? if so, im not sure if i should try them.

i have had bad trips and they only fuck you up while its goin on not after. i dont think you have to worry about it screwing you up for a long time to come.

i had a fucked up trip on acid where i felt like i was ontop of a building the whole time an i felt like i was goin2 start falling at any second an for a few days after i felt like it was still goin2 happen but thats acid man an its alot stronger than shrooms i say try them dude shrooms are the best u jus cant wury when ur takin them ive never hurd of that happining from shrooms

My friend had a really bad trip a week or so ago and she's totally fine. I think you have to be pretty crazy to begin with for a bad trip to have any kind of permanent effect, so if you don't have a pre-existing mental condition you shouldn't have to worry about it.

Man, people are pansies sometimes when it comes to Acid and shrooms. Don't worry about having a bad trip, worrying will make you more likely to have one.

Even if you have a bad trip, it's still fun. I did shrooms earlier this year, and for the first hour or so (not sure how long, you lose ALL comprehension of time), I was freaking out, but it was still fun, but in a scary way.

I just ate an eighth last night.Chilled back in the woods with some friends with a bottle of jim beam.Gotta love it.

But generally,i like to joke around on the come up,ya know,lighten everyone up.Becauise the come up tends to be where people start freakin out.Alot of times i find myself being the one that has to calm people down,and some time it brings me down in the process,but im usually more experienced then the people iam with.

hell yea man.30 mintues after that shit hits my tongue...i warn everyone,"im going outside,come if ya want,but im not gonna be cooped up in a house.Altho it dont bother me,no use in wasting a beutiful day.
