How would marijuana cure alcoholism? Alcoholism is an addiction, and harder to boot than a heroin addiction. With the exception of ibogaine (which only helps by blocking opioid receptors in the brain) no drug can "cure" an addiction.

Do some research on brain chemistry and salvia divinorum bro...

it would have the best chance because it doesn't cause addiction itself, so if you were to smoke a joint instead of a beer it would be alot better than taken cocaine, and i'm not sayin it would work for everyone, but i do know atleast a few people it did work for. and not saying its the same but it helped me quit ciggs real easy.

I don't understand. People don't just switch around from addiction to addiction. You can't just pull a heroin addict off of the street, give them a few joints an expect that to solve the problem. Alcoholics are addicted to alcohol for numerous reasons, but they won't just magically switch to another drug that doesn't have the same effect.

it is all you sixteen year olds who smoke the fuck out of the bongs that will be the next generation 'nutters', know matter how much you deny it, it will happen and you will be carted off to get your weekly dose of 'electric shock' treatment.

Boy I'm glad I wasn't a waster at age sixteen.
