The government does not care about the voice of the people, it cares about the money the people give the government. Laws, "medical Marijuana for example" are not made for the people even if it is in the best interest, they are made by whoever has paid the most money to have them enforced. The only time the government listens to the people is when, something tragic happens to a government officials family and they want to amend the law because it affected them or people riot and or become a thorn in the government and they pass a law to make us happy.
