The government argues this point when it comes to Medical Marijuana, "what kind of message does it send to our kids if we legalize Medical Marijuana"?

Kids these days can understand things if we educate them. The point about what kind of message does it send is just ridiculous. I do not hear the government saying, â??Doctors cannot prescribe Cocaine or Heroin" and in fact can. Do kids take the fact Doctors can prescribe Cocaine and Heroin as it must be ok? No! Kids are very smart and if you teach them and stop acting like they are dumbasses maybe America would become a better place and people needing Medical Marijuana could get it legally on the federal level.

Nothing the government says makes a solid point why Marijuana should stay illegal.

see when I was 6 my Mom went to jail for a year. I hated MJ for that reason. @ 13 I found for myself it was'nt the MJ I should of been mad at but the system.

Not enough politicians are willing to actually take a risk on thier re-election for such a small issue as medicinal marijuana (oh, and it IS small, compared to others). Thats the main probleme with democracy, the populace is ignorant and onyl votes for themselves, not the greater good.

my dad was tellin me about this interview of montel williams (talk show host who uses medical MJ) and he says to larry king "larry, my doctor can prescribe me cocaine or heroin, but if he tries to prescribe me marijuana he gets arrested" that just backs up your point but i just thought it was interesting

Yeah man its totally true first time I took a hit of ganja my first thoght was "I need so heroin , maybe I can get a few cc's after school tommorow" down with the govt. almost everyone in america had done weed i think theres a pretty good chance a few of them are born crackheads
