rhino44 Reviewed by rhino44 on . GED Hey, I kinda fucked up through a good portion of my life and ended up with a grocery store clerk job, no drivers license, and no high school diploma. And now after fucking around and having my fun I decided it's time for me to start going to where I should be in life and getting my shit together. I was wondering if anyone here has ever taken GED tests or courses and you can tell me what I should be prepared for and what they are like. Rating: 5

GED
My aunt took it and she told me that in Wisconsin where I live you have the option of just taking the tests straight up and if you pass you're good to go. I am most likely going to try to go to college or something after I get it because like SomeDude said, if you get a higher degree, no one will notice the GED.

GED
i think the best thing to do is get one of those big practice books from barnes & nobles that comes with a computer cd--study the book and then take all the practice tests on the cd-rom. i did that for my grad school exams and almost got a perfect score. good luck!!!!

A friend of mine got his GED and now he's in law school......if your going to get your GED you might as well go to college. Because the only thing a GED is going to get you is another stock boy job...If you really want to make financial difference in you life you need some kind of degree or certificate. I know it sucks I don't like it any more than you....but you gotta do what you gotta do. Borrow the money if you have to but get it done....I agree with going to a community college/junior college for two years first. That way it will be easier/cheaper/ and if you bust your ass you can boost your GPA way up there so you will have no problem getting into a university and getting scholarships.......and hello....they do lots of parting in college, it will be fun if you work hard at it.
