i guess some things are harder to give up,

friend of mine went to see BTO,(bachman turner overdrive) few yrs back,we grew up on bands like that,he said about the same thing about them ,they tried like hell but just couldnt get it together siad he stayed cause he felt sorry for them and didnt want to just leave since wasnt that big of event to begin with, and he had front row seat,
something you could not of got in the 70s,and now he had one even if it was to a "burnt out show" is what he called it,

i dont recall that band though april wine, but then i kinda burnt out too,
maybe ill take my chances with limewire for a while and go download some

NowhereMan Reviewed by NowhereMan on . Summer Concerts Hi Guys, Spur of the moment last night, got up to Tweeter Center in Mass for Santana / LosLoneyBoys concert. Got tix at box-office at showtime, and for some reason, 2 tix 20th row center was available. Nice. Show was excellent, Santana backed up by 10 piece percussion / horn / keyboard / guitars / vocalist. A nice mix of classics (Evil Ways, Black Magic Woman, Smooth, Maria Maria, Oye Como Va), covers (from John Coltrane and John Lee Hooker), and latin stuff. LosLonelyBoys provided some Rating: 5

Saw John Legend this Friday night, which was nice. His voice is amazing.

Considered Dave Matthews but didn't buy tix in time.

Saw Meat Loaf perform last night at BOA Pavillion in Boston. This is the first time I've seen him live, but I've always wanted to as he was a real maniac in the 80's. He's older (and calmer) now, although was very theatrical (as expected) and I was solidly rocked by the band. Weather was perfect (outdoor venue).

He performed all of the classics,as well as some new ones from an upcoming CD : Bat Out Of Hell 3.

Any Meat Loaf Lovers out there ???

I would really like to see ELO??.you know ??evil woman? and such.

I don??t even know if they are all still alive or play together anymore.

NWM- my little girl (she??s 4) loves Ronnie Milsap

We always sing in the car together, the other day ??stranger in my house? came on the radio an of course I freaked out cause I never hear it anymore. She was digging it?and getting into it and singing ??THERES A STRANGER IN MY HOUSE? at the top of her little lungs. Then after the song was over she said ??mama, they should have locked the door.?

    Of course I agreed?.

OMG, taking kids to concerts is so much fun (albeit expensive). I've seen the Spice Girls, Destiny's Child, Christina Aguilera, just to name a few.

I'll continue to keep this concert thread alive into the fall .... I just bought tickets to Bruce Springsteen, in Providence in October. I've never seen "The Boss" live, so this will be special.
