Howdy Blue Cat,

I know that you won't reply, because I'm beneath your lofty status as a liberal elitist, but I just have to say..that we already have enough gun-control laws on the books, they just need to be enforced better.

As for trigger locks, they put one in a vulnerable position,if faced with an intruder..they are about as useful as caling 911,they both git ya killed. There wouldn't be as many gun accidents,if the parents would just educate their children about guns and gun safety,it would take away the 'mystery' of guns and children would be responsible in their handling and use. The NRA's Eddie Eagle program,is excellent for teaching children about guns, that and similar programs, should be more widely taught.

Guns aren't the problem,it's the folks pulling the trigger..that are the problem,to be un-armed,means no defense against criminals or tyrannical goverments..the politicians, should always be fearful of an armed populace, take away that fear..and there's nothing to stop tyranny.

I have a frontier mentality,to me,a gun is a tool for gathering food and defending my family from those who would wish them harm..especially for us folks living in the country, where calling 911,means no help for at least a half-hour or more.

Have a good one...
