Is Duct tape ok to use to seal the bowl to the shaft, or will it melt? If I can't use duct tape, what should I use?

Gaffers tape will stand up to some SERIOUS heat. Much more than anything your bowl will put out. It's kind of a pain in the ass to find, probobly have to order it, but its the perfected duct tape.

There you go, I've never had to buy my own, but I've also never seen it in any stores. Sounds like ebay is probobly the easiest, unless you know people in the theatre buisness.
