OK, there is this guy, Randy Brush, in his 50s, in a wheelchair half the time- a medical user and he got busted with 4 plants and got 3 years. I've never met him but I thought he got a really rotten deal, so I write him.) You can read about him at Free Randy Brush Now . Tonya tells his story way better than I can.

Anyway, Randy is finally being sent to a halfway house after nearly dying in prison from medical neglect. He is stopping at the statehouse in Columbus on the 7th to help deliver a copy of the Compassionate Act of Ohio to the senators and state reps. I realize most of you are kids and won't be able to make it to the demonstration that is planned (In case you are thinking of attending here's the details- Meet Randy Brush Feb 7 2007 in person - TreatingYourself.COM Online Community ).

What I hope that you will do for Randy, for me and for yourselves, is to go to CNN's website, CNN.com, and ask that they cover the story. It took me about one minute to do it. National coverage will help get medical cannabis legal in Ohio. I've got a dude in CANADA who is emailing CNN about Randy- "international interest" .

Your message could be as simple as "Please cover the Randy Brush story in Columbus, Ohio. When: February 7, 2007. Where: Ohio Statehouse, Columbus, Ohio.Time: 11 AM -1 PM. Thank you."

The more people who email CNN, the better the chance it will be covered. How badly do you want legal cannabis???? :rasta: Enough to spend a minute or two emailing CNN? Can you ask a friend to email CNN?

Before we can get cannabis legalized for everyone, we should see that at least medical patients can get it without fear. I am a medical Cannabis user in California- Randy was busted for doing what I do (semi)legally! It isn't fair! No one should go to prison for growing a pain relieving plant! Thanks- Granny:stoned:
